The Tomb of Three Kings is a mesmerizing story of vengeance and honor in ancient China. It tells of how a swordsman beheads himself after killing the King of Chu on behalf of Chibi who had sought to avenge his father’s death. 

Commissioned and produced by the Hong Kong Arts Festival in 1999, this tragic, dramatic work is written for mezzo-soprano, tenor, and bass with chamber orchestra and Chinese percussion instruments.
